I designate this week Accident week...
So, apparently it is our week for accidents. After a fun day at Sea World with Laura Cody and Max, we got sideswiped on the way home! The dude took off, we chased him down, and got his info...Luckily all is well, and only the Driver's side mirror was broken...no damage elsewhere. That would be enough for me, but I was driving home today and got hit in our other car! I was at a stop on the freeway and the car behind me stopped. However, the car behind him didn't. :( Luckily no one was hurt, and only a few minor dents and dings, which I shouldn't have to pay for. I'm just grateful everyone was okay. Missed Mutual though...oh well.

We bought a new car!
So, after years of running around to many places with one car, taking buses or trains or planes...:).... we finally broke down and bought a new car. After a lot of hemming and hawing, we decided to spend less money and go for a used car, so we drove to our Moss Brothers Toyota in Moreno Valley, and looked at a few, including a horrible one with a plaid interior, we test drove a 2002 Toyota Highlander that we fell in love with! It is beautiful, and after a couple hours of friendly calm haggling (Tiffany stayed quiet), we knocked the price down to a comfortable level, and drove home!

So now our Corolla has a friend...

This is Tiffany the supermodel doing a spread in a major magazine for the car.

And then I found her dancing...

I love my wife! She is beautiful, amazing, and talented. In fact, she even auditioned to sing the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium for Mormon Night! She is so spectacular! I love you Tiffy!

A Month later...
I just did a lesson for the young men young women of our ward on journal writing-I am the Teacher's quorum advisor
-so I thought I should practice what I preach and update our blog.
Mom and Dad Laney came for a visit to see our house. We enjoyed having them here, especially since Dad Laney likes to do our dishes and helped me weed the front and back yards!
We did have a fun trip around Easter time to Mom and Dad Laney's house. We hung out with them, went to the state capitol, Japantown in San Francisco, and an air museum, along with doing other stuff. Here are some pictures.

Catch up
So, the last couple of months I have been horrible at posting! Sorry! I won't try to catch up in detail, but here is some pictures, with more to follow
A picture of Tiffany, just because she is beautiful and loves it when I take random pictures.
Appropriate St Patrick's Day food.
Our cute and lovable and annoyingingly bitey puppy.

We took her and our niece Madison who was visiting for the weekend to the park.
I am king of the world...with my royal puppy Mugsy!
Madison's reaction to my silliness...okay not really but it was funny.
Impishly cute

Walking home
A tuckered out little girl...all in all a fun time!
We also went on vacation lately and had my parents visit...I promise pictures of that to come.

Hi everybody!
This is just a little note to say hi and let you know we are still alive. Life moves along for us quite well, with the occasional hiccup, like me missing the last train home the other night but finally finding a very nice co-worker who took a three hour round trip to take me home! There was also Tiffany's lovely four 1/2 hour commute home the other night...mass transit is fun when it works, but sucks when it doesn't.
Other than that, life is good! We love our house, and are currently working on the front lawn that we bought dead so the HOA gets off our backs. We love them. Yes we do. Mugsy Pugsy Pee Poo Pants, which is mostly just Mugsy and occasionally Mugsy Pugsy, is about the same...we love her except when she bites us, especially our toes and faces. We are looking forward to a vacation next month to see my parents, and lookign forward to seeing some of y'all as you make Disneyland trips!

Update...again
So, I have been horrible at updating, so here's a snapshot of our lives...work, home to sleep to get up for work, etcetera. I am still working far away, as jobs are hard to find right now. Makes for rough days sometimes, but I am glad we have our house and are out of our apartment! We have bought a new couch and loveseat, and a washer and dryer, so we are happy!
We had a great time with Tiffany's birthday, and Valentine's day lately, and are still very much in love! Christmas was good too.
Bob even managed to put up some drapes that had been sitting around forever...by himself! Impressive I know.
On a happy note, we have added to our home...with a dog! A cute little sharpei Pug mix named Mugsy, or if you'd like her full name, Mugsy Pugsy pee pee PooPoo Pants(or Bottom, we haven't decided.) The name comes from her puppy like trait of peeing and pooing everywhere but where we want her to. She is a little terror, but we love her! So enjoy the pictures!

Catching Up
So, we have been doing a lot! Since Thanksgiving, we have put up more curtains in our house, put up ceiling fans, bought a new range, unpacked most of our boxes, and even had our first official house guests! (Thanks Max for bringing Laura and Cody!) We love our house, just not the commute! Some days it is interesting but it is a new adventure! Both Tiffany and I are riding the Metrolink, and it means we have new experiences almost every day, from the woman who told me about having her things removed just so she wouldn't have kids, to being stuck for an hour and a half on a train due to an accident up ahead, to the fun of catching buses with minutes to spare to hour and a half long bus rides, it is great! For instance, tonight I left at 6 pm and got home around 9:30, and only then because Cody came and gave me a ride home (Thanks guys!) for the last 6 or 7 miles, since the bus would only take me so far. Tiffany has some good stories too, but I will let her tell them later. There are god times too, like when I walked to the train station in the rain and got soaked, but had the chance to meet a recent convert ot the church and have a great conversation with her along the way. I also have had more time to reflect, think, and read my scriptures, which has been amazing!
On a different note,( an off key one) here are some pictures of lots of stuff.
